abstractThis paper reports five species of Phytoseiidae, including four new species and the male of a known species from Fujian. The male of Iphiseius dinghuensis is described for the first time. Type speciemens are deposited in the Guangdong Institute of Entomology. Typhlodromus (Anthoseius) zhaoi, sp. nov. (figs. 1-5) This species is similar to T. serratus (Chaudhri) 1975, but differs from the latter in the setae S1, S2 and L1 to L4 being smooth, the fixed digit of chelicera without pilus dentilis, the sternal shield with three pairs of setae ventrianal shield wider and in the shape of spermatheca. Male: Unknown. Holotype female, paratypes 2 females, 1980. vi. 12. Sangang, Chongan Xian, on Pinus massona, 2 females on Phyllostachys pubecens collected by Wu. This species is named in honor of Prof. Zhao Xiu-fu, chief editor of Wuyi Science Journal. Amblyseius (Amblyseius) wuyiensis, sp. nov. (figs. 6-12) This specie is similar to A. channabasavanni Gupta et Daniel, 1978 and A. mcmurtryi Muma. 1967, but differs from channabasavanni in the dorsal shield being smooth, the fixed digit of chelicera without pilus dentilis and setae M2>L4. It differs from mcmurtryi in the cervix of spermatheca being thicker and longer and in the shape of ventrianal shield. Holotype female, Allotype, paratypes 5 females, Shaxian, 1980. xii. 26. on Salvia sp., collected by Wu. Amblyseius (Amblyseius) australis, sp. nov. (figs. 13-17) This species is closely related with A. ovalis (Evans) 1953, A. ovalides Blom- mers 1974 and A. aizawai Ehara et Bhandhufalck 1977, but differs from them in the dorsal shield being smooth, the fixed digit of chelicera without pilus dentilis and in the relative lengths of setae D1 and L1. Male: Unknown. Holotype female, paratypes 2 females, Shamen city, Fujian Province. 1980. vi. 4, on grass, collected by Wu. 3 females, Jianfengling, Hainan Island, 1980. x. 13. on Psidium guajava collected by Qian. 2 females, Tengchong, Yunnan province, 1980. v, collected by Qian. Amblyseius (Amblyseius) circellatus sp. nov. (figs. 18-22) This species resembles A. (A.) newsami (Evans) 1953, but differs from it in the setae L0 being smooth, all setae longer except setae L9 and D1 leg IV with only one macrosetae, and in the shape of spermatheca. Male: Unknown. Holotype female, paratypes, 2 females, Jianyang Xian, Dazhulan, 1980. vi. 8 on Machilus thunbergii, collected by Wu. Iphiseius dinghuensis Wu et Qian 1982. (figs. 23-24) Male: Chaetotaxy of dorsal shield and shape are same as in female, but its body smaller than female. With setae S1 and S2 on dorsal shield. Chelicera multidentate on fixed digit and with two or three teeth on movable digit. 3 females, 2 males, Sangang, Chongan Xian, 1981. ix. 4. on Castanopsis sp. collected by Li.
