| abstract | 1. The genus Scarabaspis Womersley is re-defined and transferred from Hypoaspidinae to the Eviphidinae.
2. Iphidozercon orientalis Berl. and Emeus inexpectatus Oudms. are transferred to the genus Scarabaspis.
3. Scarabaspis aspera Womersley and Copriphis variola Schweizer are considered, respectively, to be synonyms of S. orientalis and S. inexpectatus.
4. The genera Scarabaspis and Pelethiphis are recorded in Britain for the first time and a key is given for the separation of the British genera of the Eviphidinae. |
