| abstract | (1) Doloisia guangdongensis sp. n.
Body elliptical, milk-white in colour. 168 × 116 µ when unfed and 627×425 µ when engorged. Eyes and eye plates absent. Scutum pentagonal, with the apex directed anteriorly. Sensillae globose, prominently ciliated, and with about 7 annular rows of setules below head. Chelicerae with two dorsal teeth. Geleal setae nude. Palpal claw (14 µ) three-pronged, strongly flexed. Setae on palp: B.N.NNB. Dorsal setae 38, arranged 4-8-2-8-6-4-4-2 approximately. Ventral setae ca. 32, arranged irregularly. Legs 7 segments: I 219 µ, II 186 µ. III 224 µ; coxae setae 2: 4(5): 10-13; the special setae on legs as in figures.
The standard measurements (in µ) of the dorsal plate arc: AW 18.8, PW 515, SB 20.8, ASB 18.8, PSB 16.3, AP 33.3, AM 26.8, AL 20.4, PL 38.4, Sens 28.4 with head 13.6/17.6.
Host and location in host: The nasal cavities of Bandicota nemorivaga.
Holotype and paratype: Five engorged and one unengorged specimens. Deposited in the authorʼs collection.
Locality: Gujing, Guangdong.
The present specimens are most similar to Doloista okabei Sasa et al., 1952, but can be distinguished from the latter by the numbers of coxae III setae, standard measurements of the dorsal plates and the number of the dorsal setae, etc.
