| abstract | The genus Basiceremaeus Corpuz-Raros 1979 is revised and redescribed; including B. upelbensis Corpuz-Raros, the type species; B. babalus Corpuz-Raros 1979; B. makilingensis Corpuz-Raros 1979; B. rosaeus (Corpuz-Raros 2004), a new combination from Leptocepheus and B. bangladeshensis Corpuz-Raros & Gruezo, new species. The first four species, all from the Philippines, are diagnostically described including some leg characters which were not given in their original descriptions. A key to the five species is provided. |
