abstractOne new species and one new record from its habitat (host plant) in the family Phytoseiidae belonging to genera Iphiseius Berlese and Typhlodromus Scheuten respectively infesting medicinal plants Ambroma augusta L.f. and Clematis buchananian DC respectively from West Bengal, India, are described. In case of Typhlodromus himalayensis the description available was mainly based on female specimen. However, in the present communication, the description is made on male specimen for the first time.
