| abstract | The mite Spatulaphorus gorganica Rahiminejad et Hajiqanbar sp. nov. (Acari: Heterostigmatina: Pygmephoridae) collected under elytra of the host beetle, Geotrupes spiniger (Marsham, 1802) (Col: Geotrupidae) is described and illustrated from Oak forests of Golestan province, North of Iran. Moreover, host range of the genus is reviewed and a key to world species of the genus Spatulaphorus is provided. |
