| abstract | The subfamily Parholaspinae Evans 1956 is herein raised to the rank of family. A key to genera is provided, as well as keys to species. The following three genera are proposed: Neoparholaspulus, type Neoparholaspulus coalescens n. sp. Lattinella, type Lattinella capizzii n. sp.; Parholaspella, type Parholaspella spatulata n. sp. In addition, the following new species are described: Neparholaspis evansi n. sp., Calholaspis berlesei n. sp. , Neoparholaspulus bakeri n. sp., Neoparholaspulus cuspidatus n. sp., Neoparholaspulus hurlbutti n. sp., Parholaspulus parvilobtus n. sp., Parholaspulus tragardhi n. sp., Parholaspulus lobatus n. sp., Parholaspella womersleyi n. sp., Parholaspella peltata n. sp., The genus Tricholaspis Evans 1956 is herein considerecl to be synonymous with Neparholaspis Evans 1956. |
