abstractThe results of studies made on acarid and histiostomatid deutonymphs extracted from different habitats (nests of termites, manure of animals and planted onion). 3 species (Cosmoglphus barbisetus sp.n., Forcellinia mahunkai sp.n. and Acarus solimani sp.n.), representing the family Acaridae and 4 species (Histiostoma tinydorsalis sp.n., Histiostoma camphori sp.n., Histiostoma sammari sp.n. and Glyphanoetus onioni sp.n.) representing the family Histiostomatidae are new to science. The descriptions and illustrations of the new species are given below.
