| abstract | A new genus Coleopygmephorus Khaustov gen. nov. (Acari: Pygmephoroidea: Neopygmephoridae) with type species Bakerdania loricophila Sevastianov, 1981 is described. Coleopygmephorus loricophilus (Sevastianov 1981) comb. nov. is recorded from Russia for the first time and redescribed. A new species Coleopygmephorus scolyti Khaustov and Mandelshtam sp. nov., collected on Hylurgops longipillus Reitter, 1895 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae) in Far East of Russia is described. A key to species of Coleopygmephorus is provided. |
