abstractA survey was carried out to determine the native Phytoseiidae (Mesostigmata) species in Kasnak Oak Forest Nature Reserve, southwestern Turkey, an extremely reach forest habitat. In this study, Typhlodromus (Anthoseius) commenticius Livshitz & Kuznetsov and Typhloseiulus calabriae (Ragusa & Swirski) are reported for the first time in Turkey. In addition, Neoseiulella kazaki sp. nov. is described based on two adult females. The species newly recorded are re-described to allow the determination of intraspecific variations.
