| abstract | The illustrated description of a female and male a new species of water mite Torrenticola ubinensis from mountain river in Krasnodar of territory is given. The species is characterized by the following a features: a weakly concave frontal margin of a body, the dorsal shield bears 2 pairs of setae, the genital organ of a female is in the centre of abdomen (in male it is slightly displaced in a posterior part of a body), medial fragments of suture lines between coxae II + III are available, setae Pi are located in a posterior portion of coxal shield; the anal ring is pulled together, but does not fused with posterior margin of coxal shield. |
