abstractPostlarval development of the leg chaetotaxy of some species of genera Crotonia and Holonothrus (Crotoniidae, Nothroidea) was studied. Crotonia appeared to be the Oribatid genus with the most numerous postlarval setae. The study of the leg setation made the regressive evolution more comprehensive. The regression was more advanced in genus Holonothrus than in species of Crotonia which have been studied.
