| abstract | Phytoseius (Dubininellus) chinensis, sp.nov. (Figs. 1-5)
This species is similar to Phytoseius (Dubininellus) ibagai Athias-Henriot, but differs from thelatter as follows:
1. Setae L5, L6, L7, M2 of dorsal shield not truely divided in this species but the case is not so ribagai.
2. Seta L3 smooth in this species wereas serrate in the latter.
3. Seta Vl1 and macroseta on leg IV tibia of the present new species far longer than those of the latter.
Male: Unknown.
Holotye female, paratypes 2 females, 1981, ix. 4, on Rhus vermiciflua Stokes, Chong-an, Sangang, Fujian province.
The type specimens are deposited in the Guangdong Institute of Entomology. |
