abstractAmblyseius (Amblyseius) huanggangensis, sp.nov. (fig. 1-6)
This species is similar to A. (A.) haimatus Ehara (1967), A. oguroi Ehara (1964) and A. (A.) compressus Wu et Li (1984). It differs from haimatus in lateral setae L2 to L7 shorter and L9 much longer. It differs from all of them in the shape of the spermatheca.
Holotype female, allotype male, paratype male, Huanggangshan, 1800 m, 1981 ix.9, collected by Li Zhao-quan, off Vibernum dilatatum.
Type specimens are deposited in the Guangdong Institute of Entomology.

This species differs from A. taiwanicus Ehara in having L7 and L9 much longer, distance between preanal pores shorter, and in the shape of the spermatheca.
