| abstract | This work reports on a new species of Blattisocius mites collected from the faeces of locust insects (Locusta migratoria (Meyen); Orthoptera, Acrididae) at Sharq El Owainat, New Valley, Egypt. The species is known only from females, but is remarkable in the genus for having only two pairs of preanal ventrianal setae. |
