| abstract | Mites of the family Cunaxidae of Western Siberia, Russia are reviewed. Female, male, protonymph and deutonymph of Parabonzia sibiriensis sp. nov. are described from the rotting log of birch. Dactyloscirus dolichosetosus Den Heyer is recorded for the first time in Palaearctic. Bonzia sphagnicola Willmann is recorded from Russia for the first time. Bonzia halacaroides Oudemans, Neobonzia kuznetsovi (Sergeyenko), Cunaxa setirostris (Hermann), C. capreolus (Berlese), C. bochkovi Khaustov, Cunaxoides croceus (Koch), and Lupaeus subterraneus (Berlese) are recorded for the first time for the Asian part of Russia. The Grandjeanʼs nomenclature for leg setae is applied to the family Cunaxidae for the first time. |
