| abstract | The family Trombidiidae (Trombidiformes: Prostigmata) is reported for the first time from Saudi Arabia (SA) with Allothrombium monosolenidion sp. nov. and A. meridionale Berlese. The new species is described from larva. Also, three genera Microtrombicula Ewing (Trombiculidae), Eutrombidium Verdun and Trichotrombidium Kobulej (Microtrombidiidae) are reported as new to the fauna of SA. |
