abstractTwo new hypopi mites are described: Anoetostoma nerminka sp.n., from rodent holes in corn field, (Assiut, Egypt) and Histiostoma pickaxei sp.n., from skin of dead animal (el-Minia, Egypt), and from wheat (Matay, El-Minia, Egypt). The holotype of each of these two new species is in the collection of Plant Protection Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University, Egypt, with 2 paratypes of the latter species one of them was sent to Prof. Dr. S. Mahunka, Budapest, Hungary.
