| abstract | The book includes three sections: summarize of eriophyoid mites, morphological characteristic and taxonomy. Economic significance, control methods, biological property, specimen collection and preparing, taxonomic systems were briefly introduced in the first section. In the last section, over 244 species were described, which belong to 87 genera in 13 tribes, 9 subfamilies, 3 families including 5 new genera, 53 new species, 6 new combinations and 3 new records. Taxonomic descriptions, characteristics and geographic distribution of the species were included, with 250 illustrations and 16 pictures. |
