| abstract | Two new species of oribatid mites of the genus Oribatella (Oribatida, Oribatellidae)—O. friedrichi sp. nov. and O. cornuta sp. nov.—are described from soil and leaf litter of the primary evergreen lowland rainforest in Amazonian Peru. An identification key to known species/subspecies of Oribatella from the Neotropical region is presented. |
