| abstract | Of the 35 species of Premicrodispus described, only P. adjacens (Mahunka, 1969a) was recorded in the Neotropical region, specifically from Brazil. In the present paper, we describe a new species of Premicrodispus (P.) Cross, 1965 (Acari: Heterostigmatina: Microdispidae) from Brazil. An identification key to the subgenera and species of Premicrodispus of the world is provided. |
