| abstract | 1. This paper deals with a revision of the genus Neocypholaelaps Vitzthum (Mesostigmata: Ameroseiidae)
2. The genus Indoseius Evans is considered a synonym of Neocypholaelaps Vitzthum.
3. Six species are described and figured. Four species, Neocypholaelaps africana, N. cocos, N. indica and N. novaehollandiae, are considered to be new species.
4. The external morphology of the Ameroseiidae is discussed and a key is given for the separaton of the genera. |
