| abstract | In this paper is described the male of a new species of Amblyomma (Acari, Ixodidae): A. chabaudi n.sp. collected in the South of Madagascar on an endemic terrestrial tortoise (Pyxis arachnoides). This tick is related to the geoemydae group of Amblyomma, parasitic on reptiles and pangolins in the Ethiopian, Oriental and Australian Regions. |
