| abstract | A description is given of a myobiid, Laavoimyobia hughesi n.g., n.sp., taken from Merriamʼs Kangaroo Rat, Dipodomys merriami Mearns, in Nevada, USA. The new myobiid is interesting in that it shows both advanced and primitive features, and appears to be the first myobiid to be described from Kangaroo Rats. |
