abstractAll the stages of Hemipteroseius adleri sp. nov. are described and figured, its hosts are the pyrrhocorid bugs Pyrrhocoris apterus and Scanthius aegyptius. Hemipteroseius indicus (Krantz & Khot, 1962) has been collected in Israel from Caenocoris nerii (Lygaeidae). The mites are parasites of the bugs and feed on their red cerointegument.
