| abstract | Mononychus vilaricensis n.sp., a tetranychid mite found on Anona squamatosa is described for the first time. The species was collected in the Brazilians historical city of Ouro Preto (Vila Rica), state of Mina Gerais. A résumée of the descriptin was presented at the I Latinoamerican Entomlogical Congress, Cusco, Peru, april 12-18, 1971. |
