abstractUp to this time two species of Aegyptobia Sayed have been described. Aeg. trägårdhi Sayed and Aeg. salixi Zaher and Yousef were widely distributed allover the U.A.R., as the former was found on Thuja sp. and the latter inhabited Salix sp. A new species, Aeg. sayedi n. sp., collected from Cupressus sempervirens in both Giza and Gaza strip, is described.
