abstractTrisetacus campnodus, n. sp. is described from Scotch pine, Pinus sylvestris L., and a key to distinguish it from closely related species is provided. T. campnodus attacks pine needle bases under the needle sheath typically causing chlorosis, stunting, and distortion of the needles.
