| abstract | Myobia apodemis sp.nov. parastic on Apodemus argenteus argenteus was described basing on 7 females and 6 males. Theis new mite resemblesclosely Myobia nodae Matuzaki, 1965, occurrring on Apodemus speciosus speciosus in Japan. The two mites are, however, clearly separated from each other by the differnece in the nature of the dorsal setae. The japanese name, Hienezumi-kemochidani, was proposed for M. apodemi. |
