abstractSeven new species of the genus Amblyseius are described: Amblyseius (Proprioseiopsis) parasundi, A. (A.) tamatavensis, A. (A.) passiflorae, A. (A.) reptans., A. (A.) ivoloinae, A, (A.) ovaloides, A. (A.) aequidens. All species were collected on fruit trees except A. passiflorae. A. parasundi is a thelytokous species . A. (A.) bibens Blommers, 1973, and A. (A.) brevipes Blommers, 1973, are recorded from the Tamatave region,
