| abstract | Blankaartia pauli, new species, is described from nasal cavities of clapper rails (Rallus longirostris) collected at Dolphin Island, Alabama; Vero Beach and St. Petersburg, Florida; and the Florida keys. This is the second species of Blankaartia reported from the United States and the second record of an intranasal species in the genus. |
