| abstract | Eight new species of eriophyids are described and illustrated. They are: Calepitrimerus asiminae from pawpaw (Asimina triloba); Cecidophyes naulti from red maple {Acer rubrum); Epitrimerus crataegifolius from hawthorn (Crataegus sp.); Phyllocoptes linderifolius from spicebush (Lindera benzoin); Setoptus exmaculatus from Virginia pine (Pinus virginiana); Tegolophus ringsi from hackberry (Celtis occidentalis); Tegolophus spongiosus from osage-orange (Madura pomifera); and Tetra kingi from cucumber-tree (Magnolia acuminata). |
