abstractThe authors describe a new species of Congovidia (C. brasiliensis) (Acarina: Astigmata) found in the nest of a wasp from Brasil. All the stages have been observed in the nest, including adults and heteromorphic deutonymphs (hypopi). It is the first time that the life-cycle of the genus Congovidia is observed.
