Taxa of the new subfamily are described and illustrated; Ascouracarus Gaud and Kolebinova 1973, type-species: Dermoglyphus kosarovi Vassilev 1959 (= Ascouracarus vassilevi Gaud et Kolebinova 1973); Ascogastra n.g., type-species: Dermoglyphus (Sphaerogastra) monstrosus Trouessart 1898; Cystoidosoma n.g., type-species: C. labidostoma n.sp.; Orphanacarus n.g., type-species O. trichozonus n.sp.; Petersonascus n.g., type-species P anacrotrichus n.sp.; and Pyonacarus n.g., type-species P. polysarcus n.sp. |
