abstractEadiea neurotrichus, n.sp. is described and compared with the related species E. brevihamata from Talpa europaea. It differs (among females) from all other species of Eadiea except E. brevihamata in having the combination of characters: the setae sci short and subequal to vi and also the trochanter setae peglike and striated. It is smaller than E. brevihamata and has claws II equal with bifid ends; in E. brevihamata claws II are unequal with rounded ends.
