Bryobiinae
1. Bryobia cristata (Duges), new to China, collected on Chrysanthemum sp. from Nanchang, Jiangxi.
Tetranychinae
2. Panonychus elongatus Manson, new to China, collected on Citrus reticulata, Melia azedarach, and Osmanthus persicum, from Guangzhow.
3. Schizotetrangchus nanjingensis, sp. nov. (figs. 1-2)
Female: Body 506µ in length, 250µ in width. Green in color. Gnathosoma reaching end of tibia I. Palpi slightly longer than rostrum. Dorsal setae 26, inner scapulares and inner dorsales long, 123µ in length, inner humerales short, 32µ in length. Setae on segments of legs: trochanter I-IV - 1 each; femur I-IV - 9,5,3,3; genu I-IV - 5,4,3,3; tibia I-IV - 8,5,5,5; tarsus I-IV - 15,11,9,9.
Male: Body 414µ in length, 217µ in width. Tarsus I with 16 setae, tarsus II with 12, tibia I with 9. Setae on other segments of legs identical with those of female. Distal end of the aedeagus bent dorsal, sigmoid, and tapering.
Holotype ♀, allotype ♂, paratypes 17♀♀, 3♂♂, 9 nymphs, Nanjing, 1976. V. 22 (Kuang Hai-yuan, Yuan Yi-lan, Ma En-pei), on Phyllostachys sp. This new species is allied to S. malkovskii, S. celarius and S. graminicola. It is distinct by the length of gnathos.
4. Oligonychus jiangxiensis, sp. nov. (fig. 3)
Female: Body 447µ in length, 302µ in width. Dorsal setae 24, not set on the tubercle, strong and long. Terminal sensillum on tarsus of palpus 4.6µ in length, 3.5µ in width. Dorsal sensillum 3.7µ in length. Spine-like setae 6.9µ in length. Setae on segments of legs: trochanter I-IV - 0,0,1,1; femur I-IV - 7,5,2,1; genu I-IV - 5,5,2,2; tibia I-IV - 7,5,5,5; tarsus I-IV - 17,15,9,9.
Male: not known.
This new species is allied to O. endytus, but can be distinguished easily by the dorsal setae, which is not set on the tubercle.
Holotgpe ♀, paratypes 1♀, 1 nymph, Jiangxi, 1976. VI. 23 (Kuang Hai-yuan and Ma En-pei), on Cunninghamia lanceolata.
5. Oligonychus indicus (Hirst), new to China, collected on Setaria viridis, from Jiangxi.
6. Oligonychus pratensis (Baker), new to China, collected on Setaria viridis, Pennisetum alopecuroides, from Jiangxi.
7. Eotetranychus pruni (Oudemans), new to China, collected on Malus pumila, Rosa sinensis, from Jiangxi. |
