| abstract | Tenuipalpus hainanensis, sp. nov. (figs. 1-3)
This new species is allied to Tenuipalpus meekeri De Leon (1957) in the absence of flagellate setae, and in the dorsal setae being leaflike, but readily distinguished from the latter by: 1. First and second dorsal propodosomals and first dorsolateral hysterosomals minute, not elliptical; 2. Dorsocentral hysterosomals equal inlength, the third ones reaching to posterior of opisthosoma; 3. Palpus four-segmented, second and third segments about equal in length.
