abstractThe new species is closely relatied to Typhlodromus squamiger Wainstein, 1960, from south Ukraine. Both species have been found on deciduous trees. Singularities of Pegodromus in regard to other typhlodromine members are pointed out. Definition of the new genus and description of both sexes of P. crassipilis n.sp. are given. Females of P. squamiger and P. crassipilis are compared.
