| abstract | The diagnostic characteristics of the genus Cyta are given. Descriptions and figures are given of two new species, viz. Cyta magdalenae and C. murrayi as well as of a new subspecies, C. coerulipes quadrisetosus. Habitat and locality records for these new taxons and C. latirostris are supplied. A key to thee Afrotropical fauna of Cyta is provided. |
